1. What is iNTERACT?
   
 

iNTERACT© is a portal based integrated Human Resources eBusiness Suite that is developed using an Adaptable Evolutionary eBusiness Architecture and Frameworks. It is a Rich Internet Application (RIA) that covers all aspects of human resources management over the Net. Unlike other HR products, where internet support was added as an afterthought, and where the product supports one HR model, iNTERACT© was conceived as an RIA application that supports multiple HR models and business practices, with rich internet and business features that cover all aspects of human and manpower management based on the best practices in the industry.
   
2. Does iNTERACT covers all HR business functions?
   
 

Yes, iNTERACT covers all HR Business Processes including Job Classification, Manpower Planning and Position Budgeting, Recruitment, Employee Contracting and Hiring, Attendance Management, Leave Tracking, Compensation and Payroll Management, Performance Evaluation, Career Planning, Training, and Succession Management.
   
3. Is iNTEARCT software Web based application?
   
 

iNTERACT is developed from the ground-up as a Web-Based application using Internet based enabling technologies.
   
4. What hardware and Operating Systems does iNTERACT run on?
   
 
iNTEARCT will run on any hardware that supports Linux OS or Windows 200x Server. iNTEARCT can be installed on any server running Linux or Windows 200x Server.

    6. What development languages, tools and technologies have been used to develop iNTERACT?
       
     
    iNTEARCT is developed using PhP and MySQL.
       
    7. What database management systems are supported by iNTERACT?
       
     
    iNTEARCT release 5.0 supports MySQL. However within the next 9 months we will be supporting Oracle and MS SQL.
       
    8. Is there any limitation on the number of applicants or employees when using iNTERACT?
       
     
    There is no limitation on the number of applicants or employees except the limitation of the hardware, specifically disk storage.
       
    9. Does iNTEARCT support Arabic and other languages?
       
     
    iNTERACT is a multilingual I18N/L10N compliant application and does support Arabic and other languages.
       
    10. Is iNTERACT built for specific industry or size of Business?
       
     
    iNTEARCT is built to support the best practices in HR and does not target any industry.
       
    11. Is iNTERACT interfaced to external ERPs?
       
     
    iNTERACT can be setup to interface to any GL application whereby the payroll and compensation GL transactions are passed to the GL at the end of each pay period.
       
    12. Does iNTERACT provides Web Services that can be used to communicate with external systems?
       
     
    Yes, iNTEARCT provides a set of Web Services which can be used to communicate with any application that supports SOAP. See Web Site (2interact.us) for description of iNTERACT Web Services.
       
    13. Does iNTERACT requires specific hardware configuration?
       
     
    The hardware requirements are dictated by the volume of transactions that will be processed by iNTEARCT. Thus, if your company has 500 employees, then you'll need to deploy a mid-size server, however if your company has 10,000 employees, then you'll be deploying a large multiprocessor server.
       
    14. Does iNTERACT runs on Windows 200x Server?
       
      Yes, iNTERACT runs on Windows 200x Server.
       
    15 Does iNTERACT runs on Linux?
       
      Yes, iNTEARCT runs on Linux.
       
    16. What kind of training you provide for iNTERACT?
       
      We provide both user functional training as well as technical training for system administration and production support.
       
    17. What reporting tools can be used with iNTERACT?
       
      Any reporting tool that works with MySQL can be used with iNTERACT. However, we recommend Crystal Reports.
       
    18. Does iNTERACT provide Employee Self-Service?
       
      Yes, iNTERACT provides employee Self-Service as well as Applicant Sel-Services, and Organization Unit Self-Service.
       
    19. Are iNTERACT applications/modules sold separately?
       
      Yes, iNTEARCT applications are sold separately, however certain applications have prerequisites, and in order to use such applications you'll need to purchase all prerequisite applications.
       
    20. Can I buy and use only one iNTEARCT application?
       
      Yes, but if the application has a prerequisite application(s), you'll need to purchase the perquisite application(s) as well. For example iPay requires iJob, iContract, and iTime thus in order to use iPay you'll need to install iJob, iTime as well as iContract.
       
    21. What is the price of iNTERACT Software License?
       
      Price of iNTERACT software depends on the applications, number of employees, and number of employers. For pricing, please contact us at 2interact@2interact.us.
       
    22. What are the prerequisites for installing iNTERACT software?
       
      In order to install iNTERACT you need Apache, MySQL, and Zend Optimizer. These can be installed either on Linux or Windows 200x.
       
    23. Do I need a Certified iNTERACT Consultant to install and setup iNTERACT software?
       
      A certified iNTERACT consultant is not required, but recommended.
       
    24. What type of technical support you provide for iNTERACT?
       
      We provide three levels of technical support Level-1, Level-2, and Level-3. See our Web Site for the description of each Support Plan.
       
    25. Is technical support free?
       
      No, technical support must be purchased as a plan. However, the initial basic support for installing iNTERACT is provided as part of the license.
       
    26. How long does it take to install, setup, and implement iNTERACT?
       
      This depends on the iNTERACT applications that you'll be installing and implementing and the business HR practices that need to be supported. Generally and for all iNTEARCT applications it may take 4 to 10 months to implement the whole iNTEARCT HR business suite.
       
    27. Are there any specific steps that need to be followed to install, Setup, and Configure iNTERACT?
       
      Yes there are specific steps that need to be followed to install and setup interact. See user manual for installation and setup of iINTERACT.
       
    28. Is there any certification program for iNTERACT?
       
      Yes there is a certification program for iNTEARCT.
       
    29. Can I migrate data from my current HRMS to iNTERACT?
       
      Data migration services can be provided under a separate support contract/plan to migrate data from your current HRMS to iNTERACT. This however, requires a preliminary assessment as to the format of your HRMS data.
       
    30. Do iNTERACT applications provide standard built-in reports?
       
      Yes, each iNTERACT application provides a set of standard reports. See Application Datasheet.
       
    31. How long does it take to train users on iNTERACT?
       
      Usually users are not trained on all iNTEARCT applications, but each user or group of users are training on the applications that are related to their HR functional area. So for example, a Recruitment Officer will be trained on iRecruit, while a Payroll Officer will be trained on iPay.
       
    32. How do I arrange for a demo of iNTERACT?
